Aspen announces pricing of upsized initial public offering
After announcing the launch of its initial public offering of 11,000,000 of its Class A ordinary shares at a price range of $29-$31 per ordinary share, the specialty insurer and reinsurer announced an upsized initial public offering of 13,250,000 of its Class A ordinary shares at a price to the public of $30 per ordinary share, raising $397.5 million.
The IPO valued Aspen at about $2.76 billion ahead of its trading debut.
The ordinary shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “AHL” on May 8, 2025, and the offering is expected to close on May 9, 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
In connection with the offering, the selling shareholders have granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,987,500 ordinary shares.
