Arity revenue rises 11.8% as Allstate expands mobility data business
Allstate reported third-quarter 2026 net income applicable to common shareholders of $2.05 billion, down 44.8% from a year earlier, as higher catastrophe losses and investment losses weighed on results. Revenue increased 0.5% to $17.35 billion.
Adjusted net income fell 16.2% to $2.49 billion. Property-liability underwriting income declined 30.1% to $2.02 billion, with the combined ratio rising to 86.6 from 80.1. Catastrophe losses totaled $1.65 billion, compared with $558 million a year earlier.
Auto policies in force increased 3.4% to 26.2 million, while new business grew 6.3%. Written premiums increased just 0.2%, as lower average premiums largely offset policy growth.
Homeowners policies increased 3.3% to 7.9 million, with new business up 10.2%. Written premiums grew 7.4% to $4.95 billion, while underwriting income fell to $452 million from $1.11 billion.
Protection Services revenue increased 6.9% to $964 million. Arity revenue rose 11.8% to $76 million, driven by higher lead generation advertising sales.
Allstate also said it expanded its Large Language Intelligent Ecosystem, known as ALLIE, to handle millions of service calls, with additional capabilities planned for early 2027.
