AppearMe goes nationwide

AppearMe, a UC Berkeley SkyDeck Accelerator startup that helps attorneys find litigation support in 60 seconds, goes nationwide. With over 10,000 attorneys signed up and 98.7% of requests finding a successful match with an appearance or freelance attorney in under a minute, AppearMe is the largest and only on-demand network of attorneys nationwide. Now attorneys in all states can join the startup that is changing litigation management by using the latest in artificial intelligence technology to optimize all outputs.

With companies like UpCounsel and Atrium closing their doors, AppearMe continues to grow rapidly and becoming the go-to solution for many successful solo attorneys, as well as law firms and legal departments. The process of finding an appearance attorney used to be a two- to five-hour-long process that led to a 70% success rate at best. Now litigators rely on the real-time network to fuel their litigation support, grow their revenue and cut down overhead costs.

A study from the USC School of Public Policy has suggested that the use of AppearMe in the court system can save our legal system anywhere from $750,000 to $1.5 Billion in annual costs due to calendaring problems and the reduction in canceled hearings.

The AppearMe suite of modules integrates seamlessly with a series of productivity tools already used by attorneys such as iCal and Google calendars as well as practice management software such as Clio. The startup has a huge impact on the access to justice movement and is supporting hundreds of attorneys to meet the needs of the ever-changing legal landscape.

In addition to appearance, deposition and freelance attorneys, members of the AppearMe network can find certified interpreters and licensed court reporters. In addition, law firm administrators can create an administrative law firm account from where they can easily manage every attorney and respective appearances from one account.
