Aon expands global credit reinsurance hub strategy
Aon announced changes to its global credit reinsurance structure as the broker looks to strengthen connections between clients and reinsurance capital across major markets.
As part of the strategy, Rupert Evans, Aon’s international head of credit and financial risks reinsurance, will relocate from London to New York to support clients and capacity providers across the U.S. and the Americas.
London will remain the company’s main hub for trade credit, structured credit, political risk, and international surety business, while regional credit teams continue operating in Bermuda, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, Warsaw, and Zurich.
The hub strategy is designed to provide insurers with access to global and regional reinsurers, local market insight, and coordinated placement strategies across multiple geographies.
The company’s global credit reinsurance operations are led by Ben Walker, global credit reinsurance leader, alongside Evans and Nick Ayres, chairman of global credit.
