Aon expands data center insurance program to $3.5 billion

Aon expanded its Data Center Lifecycle Insurance Program capacity by $1 billion to $3.5 billion and extended coverage to operational data centers beyond their first year.

The program now supports assets across construction and ongoing operations, addressing risks tied to increasingly complex and capital-intensive digital infrastructure. It includes multi-line coverage spanning property damage, business interruption, cyber, liability, and project cargo, backed by a global panel of A-rated insurers.

Launched in 2025, the program targets data center owners, developers, and investors, reflecting growing demand driven by cloud, AI, and hyperscale infrastructure expansion.
