Aon adds heat stress analytics to Climate Risk Monitor

Aon launched Climate Risk Monitor 3.0, an updated version of its climate risk platform that adds analytics for heat stress, cooling demand, drought, and water stress.

The update is designed to help insurers, reinsurers, governments, and businesses quantify the operational and economic impact of rising temperatures, including productivity losses, health effects, and increased energy demand tied to cooling infrastructure and data centers supporting AI workloads.

CRM 3.0 also introduces higher resolution hazard data, updated climate baselines, direct client data uploads, and global hazard mapping capabilities. Aon said the platform can support underwriting, pricing, reinsurance renewals, and broader climate risk management decisions.
