Anew is brand new

Nationwide is getting ready to launch Anew this coming Monday to offer Atlanta residents a telemaintenance service for their home. “Anew is a part of the Nationwide family of companies. So that means as an Anew user, you’ll get the credibility and reliability of a Fortune 100 company dedicated to treating customers with extraordinary care.”

Here’s how the service will work: For $19.99, Anew will connect the customer to a Virtual Home Repair Expert who’ll help figure out what’s causing the problem – video is required to diagnose the issue. The video call will take about 15 minutes and in certain cases, Anew will recommend that an In-home Repair Pro visits the home to verify the cause – at no additional charge. Within an hour of ending the video call with the Virtual Home Repair Expert, a summary will be available for the customer to download via the Anew dashboard. The summary will include information on the issue along with repair options and prices. Prices are good for 30 days and the initial payment of $19.99 will be applied to the repair cost if the customer chooses to continue with Anew.

Wait there’s more. The service is offered with a Price Assurance Promise that guarantees that when the original quoted price is lower than the actual cost of repair, then Anew will provide a credit of up to $500 above the original quoted price to cover the difference.

Finally, “all Virtual Home Repair Experts have a minimum of 15 years of experience.”

Bottom Line: Too many come to mind. Look for our second edition of the ‘Beyond Insurance‘ research report next week.
