Amynta to acquire International Sureties

Amynta Group has agreed to acquire International Sureties, a New Orleans–based commercial surety broker with operations in the UK and Belgium. Founded in 1972, International Sureties provides a wide range of surety products, including admiralty, court, bankruptcy, logistics, and license & permit bonds.

President and CEO Clark Fitz-Hugh will continue to lead the business, which employs more than 50 years of industry experience.

The deal, expected to close in Q4 2025 pending regulatory approval, strengthens Amynta’s specialty insurance portfolio. Terms were not disclosed.
