Amwins launches QBE-backed AmeriComp workers’ comp program

Amwins Program Underwriters has expanded its workers’ compensation portfolio with the launch of AmeriComp, a new underwriting program backed by QBE and designed to serve a wide range of employer risk classes.

The monoline program covers low- to high-hazard industries and adds breadth to APU’s existing specialty comp offerings, including its Recycling and Healthcare programs. Agents gain access to flexible billing, tailored loss-control services, and multiple employer liability limit options.

Amwins positions the launch as an evolution of AmeriComp’s previous market-access model into a full underwriting solution supported by an A-rated carrier. The move strengthens Amwins’ workers-comp lineup and gives retail agents another competitively priced, risk-management-focused option in a market that continues to shift across states and industries.
