Amwins acquires occupational accident MGA Jackson-Lloyd

Amwins has acquired Jackson-Lloyd , a Texas-based managing general agent specializing in occupational accident coverage for employers that opt out of the state’s workers’ compensation system.

Founded in 1989, Jackson-Lloyd provides non-subscriber occupational accident programs for employers in Texas and exempt employers in Kansas. The MGA will become part of Amwins Specialty Casualty Solutions (ASCS), expanding the division’s accident and health portfolio.

Jackson-Lloyd’s underwriting expertise will be combined with ASCS’ technology, actuarial capabilities, and national distribution network to support the program’s growth.
