American Well To Provide Embedded Telehealth Services

Boston-based American Well announced the launch of AW11, a redesigned provider interface to deliver telehealth directly from within an EMR.

New and enhanced features include: EMR direct embed option, redesigned provider interface, and a ‘global home’ feature that gives providers a seamless way to see patients from across practices on American Well’s platform.

The Allianz-backed company also announced plans to acquire Avizia that’s known for its acute care telehealth solutions including telestroke and tele-behavioral health.
