Amazon UK adds new insurance partner

Amazon now counts five insurance partners for its Amazon Insurance Store with the addition of insurance startup Urban Jungle.

Amazon Insurance Store, which was introduced in October 2022, allows UK customers to shop for home insurance.

Founded in 2016, Urban Jungle offers a variety of policies underwritten by different insurers including contents insurance, buildings insurance, a combination of both, and tenant liability insurance. The startup raised ~$45 million and reported a loss of £18 million for the year ended September 30, 2022.
