Alma Mundi Ventures backs Urban Jungle

Alma Mundi Ventures has backed London-based digital broker Urban Jungle . 

According to Crunchbase, the startup closed an $11.4 million Series A round, bringing its total funding to date to $22.3 million.

The “insurance challenger” company is a team of ~40 offering home and contents insurance. It was founded in 2016 and as of last year, it had over 25,000 customers.

Also, it works with several insurance companies including Ageas and Astrenska and ome of its policies are administered by Paymentshield and Uinsure that work with a few different underwriters like Covea, AXA, Ageas, L&G, LV=, RSA, Prestige, UKG & Zurich.
