Allianz partners with German Bobsleigh Association to enhance athlete safety

The German Bobsleigh and Tobogganing Association (BSD) has partnered with Allianz Deutschland to improve athlete safety in bobsleighing. The collaboration introduces the “Allianz Safety Sled,” equipped with sensors and cameras to analyze track conditions and share data with athletes for better preparation.

The partnership also focuses on long-term safety research, with Allianz’s expertise in automotive safety contributing to bobsleigh design improvements. This initiative is part of Allianz’s broader commitment to supporting sports, including its roles in the Olympics, FC Bayern sponsorship, and youth programs like MoveNow.
