Alexa, Ask Aviva What’s the Value of My Pension

Aviva has created a new pension skill for Amazon Alexa which allows customers to find out how much they have saved towards their retirement.
 

Customers registered on MyAviva can link the skill to their Alexa account and then ask the voice assistant to tell them the value of their pension pot. (Aviva Canada have also developed a skill which allows consumers to ask Alexa for a motor insurance quote.)

Bottom Line: Figures from research carried out by Aviva show that people don’t tend to regularly check their pension balance. A third (34%) say they do so annually while 1 in 5 (21%) say it is less often than that.
