Alan to enter Canada

French digital health insurer Alan is entering Canada next year. Canada will be Alan’s fourth market alongside France, Belgium, and Spain.

Founded in 2016, Alan recently hit a €4 billion valuation after raising €173 million in a funding round led by Belgian bank Belfius Bank.

The startup claims that it covers 675,000 employees across 29,000 employers in France, Spain and Belgium.

In 2023, Alan reported €355 million in revenue and €59 million in net losses.
