The AIG-Expedia Integration Flow

Following AIG’s announcement of being selected by Expedia to offer travel insurance, here’s a look at the integration flow:

After selecting a destination and choosing flight dates, a shopper is directed to the checkout page, where Expedia recommends travel protection. There are two options to select from: (1) a vacation waiver offered by Expedia and (2) a highlighted package protection plan offered by AIG; the “most popular” option according to Expedia.

Bottom Line: missing the AIG logo, but 7,970 customers protected their trip in the last 7 days.
