AIA Australia restructures group insurance business

AIA Australia has made a series of leadership appointments and structural changes as part of a broader investment in its group insurance business and partnerships with superannuation funds.

Chris Healey has been appointed Chief Group Insurance Officer to lead strategy and performance. The insurer has also created new roles and teams focused on growth, product development, and partner delivery. Sujan Yamunarajan will lead a new Growth division, Emily Bridger has been named General Manager, Products and Propositions, Peter Kelly joins as Head of Tender Propositions – Growth, and Wayne Willis Davis will lead a newly established Corporate team.

The changes are intended to support future product innovation and digital delivery, alongside AIA’s health and wellbeing capabilities, with a new suite of group insurance offerings expected to be announced.
