AI Startup Writer raises $100 million

Writer , an enterprise-focused AI platform, recently raised $100 million in a Series B investment round.

ICONIQ Growth spearheaded the round, and was joined by investors like WndrCo, Balderton Capital, Insight Partners (who previously led the Series A), and Aspect Ventures (who led the initial Seed round). Notably, some of Writer’s clients, including Accenture and Vanguard, also invested.

Established in 2020 and based in San Francisco, Writer equips various departments within organizations – from support and sales to HR and marketing – with advanced AI tools to enhance their tasks. The platform offers features such as chat interfaces, templates, and intuitive user options.

Recent research involving over 50 enterprise clients revealed that using Writer boosts productivity, saving an average of 7.5 hours for each employee weekly.

Writer offers two distinct pricing models – a Team Package for $18 per user/month (for up to 5 users), and an Enterprise Package (Pricing TBD).
