AG Insurance and Soudal extend women’s cycling team sponsorship through 2030
AG Insurance and Soudal have both extended their title sponsorships of the AG Insurance – Soudal women’s cycling team through the 2030 season, giving the Belgian squad a multi-year financial foundation to continue building at the UCI Women’s WorldTour level.
The team launched in 2019 as a development program for young female talent and has climbed steadily to the top tier of the sport. Its 2025 season was its strongest to date, with Kim Le Court-Pienaar winning Liège-Bastogne-Liège and spending several days in the yellow jersey at the Tour de France Femmes, Justine Ghekiere taking the Belgian national title, and Sarah Gigante claiming two stage wins and the mountain jersey at the Giro d’Italia Women.
AG Insurance, Belgium’s largest insurer with a 28% life market share and 17% in non-life, first joined as a partner in 2022. Soudal, the adhesives and sealants manufacturer, became name sponsor in 2023, though the company has been active in professional cycling sponsorship since 2015, including its long-running partnership with the men’s Soudal Quick-Step team.
The extension gives the team’s management the runway to make longer-term sporting and structural decisions, including a stated ambition to develop riders from the under-23 ranks into WorldTour competitors.
