Aflac continues partnership with National Museum of African American History and Culture

Aflac has deepened its commitment to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) by joining its Corporate Leadership Council. This move builds on Aflac’s history as a founding supporter of the museum, which opened in 2016 to international recognition.

The 400,000-square-foot museum, the largest of its kind, has welcomed over 11.7 million visitors in person and engaged 35 million users online through its exhibitions and educational programs.

“Our company recognizes the importance of preserving our nation’s cultural heritage through research, collections, exhibitions and conservation. Aflac is pleased to join other corporate leaders in helping the museum tell the American story through the lens of African American history and culture.” – Audrey Tillman, Aflac’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel.
