AAA Launches Home Service Membership
AAA Northern California announced the launch of AAA House Manager, a membership-based home maintenance service that’s currently available in selected parts of San Francisco’s East Bay.
The Idea – a top-to-bottom service for tuning up toilets, changing air filters and fixing leaky faucets, as well as a long list of safety checks (think: service refrigerator compressor coils, safety check of steps, decks, and railings and interior faucet leak and drainage check) that fall under the category of “proactive maintenance.”
Here’s How it Works: a user signs up and schedules the first visit. Later, AAA staff visits the home and takes care of maintenance issues. Then, twice a year AAA returns to take care of routine items. Also, if anything comes up in between visits, user can add the item to the list, via the company’s mobile app, and AAA will take care of it for the price of “an affordable hourly rate.”
The service is priced annually starting at $435 a year.
“The reality of home ownership is that your house needs attention all year round, no different than your car, finances or health. House Managers help prevent minor maintenance issues from turning into major repairs. That saves our Members money in the long run, and it gives them peace of mind knowing their home is in good hands” – EVP & Chief Innovation Officer, Mike Hetke.
Play.
Bottom Line: HomeZada comes to mind.
