Established in 2018, the San Francisco-based company offers an automated payment system for freelancers. The Idea – a system that holds a payment from a client until work has been completed and approved. Once work has been completed the payment is released straight to the freelancer; guaranteeing that freelancers are paid for their work. At the moment, the system supports Paypal and Ethereum. Last, Deel takes $1.49 per contract after the freelancer has been paid.
