Amodo and AIG gamify driving
Connected car platform Amodo has extended its footprint in Asia with AIG Singapore announcing the launch of “AIG on the Go”. The program scores drivers every time they are behind the wheel to allow them to earn a discount on their AIG Insurance premium. Additionally, drivers can benchmark their skills by participating in contests where they can compete against other driving enthusiasts for the chance to win spot prizes. The overall winner will be announced as Singapore best driver to win a years’ worth of fuel, car spa and a cash card worth S$10,000 in total. Rings a bell? It should. A few months back, AIG launched a similar competition called “Are you the best driver in Hong Kong?” Speaking of telematics, EMC Insurance picked Octo’s technology to power its fleet telematics program called Peak Fleet.
