AXA-backed staffing platform Zenjob announces Series C
Berlin-based Zenjob announced it has raised a €27 million Series C financing round led by Forestay Capital with participation from Redalpine, Acton Capital, Axa Venture Partners and Atlantic Labs. It has previously raised $26 million across 4 rounds of funding.
Established in 2015, the digital recruitment agency is a team of ~250 people who provide student assistants to large and medium-sized companies operating in miscellaneous industries such as logistics, retail and office sectors via an app. Clients can order staff via an online booking portal to find temporary workers for short-term or seasonal jobs. One such client is Uniqlo. Also, Zenjob claims to reach 15,000 students a day via its app.
“We continue to invest in our technology and expansion. Companies will soon be able to book hourly staff across Germany within 24 hours and use them much more efficiently than before. The same applies to students on the employee side, we enable real flexibility in the student job. Instead of paperwork and tedious interviews, the app goes directly to the right job. Contactless – that’s what Corona calls for, especially in logistics and retail. Our technology means we can hire hundreds of new students every day and fill vacancies.” – Fritz Trott, Co-Founder and CEO of Zenjob.
Bottom Line: AmFam-backed Moonrise comes to mind.
