Online treatment platform Monument is live
After three months in beta, New York-based Monument, an online treatment platform for those looking to change their relationship with alcohol, is officially live.
Established in 2019 and led by co-founder and CEO , Monument is a team of ~10. It has raised $7.5 million in a Seed round led by Collaborative Fund.
Monument connects people to peer support and affordable medical treatment customized to their goals and lifestyle – entirely online. It currently offers a free plan and 3 paid plans for benefits such as access to its anonymous community and virtual therapist-moderated support groups, as well as access to one-on-one video therapy and physician-prescribed medication.
“While I’m proud of my journey, I’m a work in progress. I built Monument for myself as much as I did for the 38 million problem drinkers in the US, and the friends, family, parents, and children of those people. You can find me posting my triumphs and challenges in the Monument community, where our members are encouraged to ask questions and share experiences throughout their journey.” – CEO Mike Russell in a post published on Medium back in January.
