Zenefits and Illinois settle

Zenefits agreed to pay a civil forfeiture of up to $560,000. Of that amount, $100,000 will be suspended pending the successful completion of a probation period. The news follows other states with similar announcements; Arizona ($15K), California ($7M), Delaware, Idaho, Minnesota, Missouri ($62K) New Jersey ($100K), South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas ($550K), Virginia, and Washington ($100K).
