Halifax Renters Insurance is powered by Trov

Halifax has partnered with Trov to launch “a simple and lower-cost insurance product” for renters in the UK. The new product, Halifax Renters Insurance, includes two elements: Home Cover – up to £10,000 worth of coverage to protect things in the home against fire, theft, flood and water damage, and Anywhere Cover – up to £10,000 of extra coverage for up to 5 selected items for when customers are on the go against accidental damage, theft or loss, along with coverage for accidental damage inside the home.

The new product offers customers monthly subscriptions and the ability to insure individual items whenever they wan by turning protection on or off.
