Aviva has followed in the footsteps of Liberty Mutual to develop a skill for Alexa that helps demystify some 300 insurance terms; making Aviva the first insurer in UK to tap into Alexa. Recall, back home, Liberty Mutual released a similar skill 4 months ago. In the future, Aviva envisions a more personalized service that incorporates data from customers’ actual policies.

BTW – customers can purchase a 2-year protection plan plus accident protection for Echo via SquareTrade; same SquareTrade that has been in the red for the last 5 years and was recently acquired by Allstate for $1.4 billion since CEO Tom Wilson thinks the deal “has a lot of upside” kinda like buying a sports team.
