W&W Invests in Digital Family Calendar Familynet
Wustenrot & Wurttembergische has invested in Familynet ; expanding its ecosystem, which consists of finance, housing, health, mobility, family and education.
Established in 2015, the German startup develops Looping, a social organizer which helps to share events between individuals, groups, organizations and brands; focusing on families, clubs and schools.
“The app looping digitizes the wall calendar or the refrigerator door, which is often stuck with deadlines and to-dos. It registers with approx. 700,000 registered users a large influx and fits due to the addressed target groups perfectly into the brandpool portfolio. There is thus a lot of potential for linking looping and other business models in the W&W brandpool ecosystem.” – Daniel Welzer, Managing Director of W&W brandpool.
The portfolio of W&W brandpool includes looping, the digital insurer Adam Riese, the digital real estate financier NIST, the personal financial management apps treefin and FinanzGuide, the app Keleya for advice on nutrition and exercise during pregnancy and the midwife advice child heroine for pregnant women and parents of infants.
This marks the insurer’s second investment this year following its investment in Berlin-based health startup Kinderheld at the beginning of the year.
