China’s Baidu to test driverless in US
16-year-old Baidu will soon start testing autonomous cars in US as part of its effort to introduce a commercially viable model by 2018. TBD whether its modified BMW 3-series will have a steering wheel. Worth Quoting: “Maybe in the distant future, we could make it drive like a human driver, but not in two years” – Baidu’s chief scientist Andrew Ng is being realistic.
