CRM startup Zipari picks up $7M
Brooklyn-based software startup Zipari announced it has raised $7 million in a Series A round led by Vertical Venture Partners (the good folks that once upon a time invested in Embroker). Recall: Zipari was founded in 2014 and offers a CRM-centered software for health insurers. “This capital expands our ability to address insurance carriers’ need for analytics to understand customers, and highly customized CRM solutions,” said Mark Nathan, CEO of Zipari. Keywords: highly customized. Let’s take a trip down memory lane. Six months ago Zipari announced Canopy Health as its newest client. The same Canopy that is now known as Melody Health with a status ‘unclear’ because of a rumored merger. Also, three months ago, Zipari announced Minuteman Health as its newest client. Bottom Line: at least one happy client.
