SBI Holdings, which manages SBI Group, the Tokyo-based financial services company, announced the creation of SBI wefox Asia, a new insurance agency in collaboration with wefox. The new agency – owned 100% by SBI Group – will sign an exclusive business alliance agreement for business development in East and Southeast Asia with wefox and localize the wefox platform to “utilize technologies such as AI and big data analytics.”
