Digital Insurer Hellas Direct Expands to Home Insurance

Athens-based digital car insurer Hellas Direct has teamed up with Swiss Re and banking alternative Revolut to enter the Cyprus home-insurance market.

The company, founded by Emilios Markou and Alexis Pantazis, is one of the largest car insurance companies in Cyprus, with more than 150,000 transactions over the last twelve months and having settled more than 30,000 claims since its launch five years ago.

Its new home-insurance product introduces: (1) daily coverage, (2) instant claims settlement and (3) payback of micro-payments on a daily basis to consumers who have not had a claim; to name three key features.
