Adam Riese Launches Legal Protection Insurance

Wüstenrot & Württembergische, better yet W&W, announced that its digital brand-slash insurer Adam Riese is now offering legal expenses coverage, in addition to private liability insurance. (You saw it coming).

Adam Riese is live as of October 2017, servicing the German market with a distribution strategy that combines online, offline and third-party sites. As for legal expenses – it is currently only available direct – via the site, and will soon be available via brokers and on comparison portals such as: Verivox and Check24. “Adam Riese products, is specifically aimed at customers who particularly focus on the price and performance of a product and want to compare providers accordingly via brokers or themselves.”

“With this sales-oriented approach, we also expect our legal expenses insurance to have a similar market success to our premiere product private liability” – W&W CEO, Franz Bergmüller. “In about four months since the start of the sale, several thousand private liability contracts have already been issued. And the next Adam Riese product is already in the pipeline with a public liability.”

Also, coverage can be cancelled on any given day, and a 150 EUR deductible will be waived once after three years without claims.
