Remote Vehicle Monitoring Startup Closed
Remember Kabzy?
It was an Irish startup led by Michael Flanagan that provided a remote vehicle monitoring device to analyze driver behavior, reconstruct accidents and disable a vehicle if stolen.
This is Kabzy now (operating status: ‘closed‘, as of Sep. 26. 2017):
And all that’s left of its online presence is one annoyed winner and a few telling tweets:
Telematics for insurance with real time data can help drivers on premiums- and on claim experience when crashes happen @KabzyApp

Kabzy’s initial idea was to disable a vehicle safely if it was ever hijacked. It shared its idea with an insurance CEO, who said that stolen cars aren’t a big problem but broken bones are. So, if Kabzy can give them the information around what happened at a crash that would be valuable. To make a long story short – Kabzy developed a mobile-based product to collect data in the event of an accident.
