Sierra acquires browser automation company Anon

Sierra has acquired Anon , a company that builds technology allowing AI agents to sign in to websites, navigate pages and complete tasks when an API is unavailable.

Anon’s team will join Sierra, bringing expertise in authentication, credential handling and browser automation. The technology will help Sierra’s agents complete work across websites and portals, including entering information and handling multi-factor authentication.

Founded by Daniel Mason, who previously co-founded Spring Labs, Anon raised more than $13 million. The company says its technology has been used by hundreds of customers, from startups to publicly traded companies, and has completed hundreds of thousands of tasks in production.

The acquisition supports Sierra’s Horizon offering, which enables agents to pursue tasks over days or weeks, such as originating loans or obtaining prior authorization for healthcare procedures. Anon’s technology will help those agents work across systems without APIs.
