CoverForce brings commercial insurance quoting to ChatGPT

CoverForce Inc has introduced a ChatGPT app that lets US insurance professionals build commercial insurance submissions and compare quotes using plain-language requests.

Agents can describe a business, check carrier appetite, start a quote, or retrieve an open application to identify missing information. The app builds submissions, asks carrier-specific underwriting questions, and returns quotes side by side across more than 60 carrier products, including workers’ compensation, business owners policies, general liability, cyber, and miscellaneous professional liability.

CoverForce operates as technology infrastructure rather than an insurance agency. Quotes run through carriers’ live APIs using an agency’s verified appointments, or a wholesaler or network partner’s appointments where access has been granted.

Users need an active property and casualty license, a verified CoverForce agency account, and applicable carrier access. Binding is completed on CoverForce’s platform or directly with the selected carrier, with quotes subject to underwriting and carrier confirmation.

CoverForce says its broader platform handles more than 50,000 submissions a month and has quoted over $1.2 billion in premium.
