First American backs Vesta’s $30 million Series B
Title insurer First American Financial Corporation participated in a $30 million Series B raised by Vesta , a mortgage software company developing AI agents to automate loan origination.
Conversion Capital led the round, with participation from Pennymac, New American Funding, Citi Ventures, nbkc bank, FirstKey Mortgage, a16z, Zigg, and Navitas. The financing brings Vesta’s total funding to $85 million.

Vesta combines a loan origination system with AI agents that review applications, make underwriting decisions, and check closing documents. The company says AI agents and automated workflows now handle about 40% of tasks completed on its platform.
Revenue grew more than 12 times over the past year, while customer count and headcount increased more than 50%, according to Vesta. Lenders using or transitioning to its platform originate more than $100 billion in loans annually.
Vesta will use the funding to expand its technology and accelerate lender implementations. First American’s participation gives the title insurer exposure to mortgage automation, including workflows that coordinate with settlement and insurance providers.
