Konsileo raises £5 million
London-based commercial insurance broker Konsileo has secured a £5 million equity investment led by long-term shareholders Committed Capital, together with ACF Investors.
Founded in 2017, the company employs more than 220 people and placed over £85 million in annual insurance premiums for businesses across the UK.
“We’ve always believed that great brokers do their best work when you give them autonomy, equip them properly and support them rather than manage them. Our growth is a testament to what happens when you offer something genuinely different to ambitious brokers who want to build brilliant client relationships. This investment means we can keep attracting great people, investing in our platform and building on the momentum we’ve created as we approach our tenth anniversary. We’re delighted to have the continued support of both Committed Capital and ACF Investors, who understand both our model and our ambitions for the business.” – Konsileo co-founder and CEO John Warburton.
“We are delighted to have completed this round and to deepen our long-standing commitment to Konsileo. John, Peter and the team have built one of the fastest-growing independent brokers in the UK, and they have done it organically, broker by broker, rather than through acquisition. That growth rests on two things that are very hard to replicate: a proprietary broking platform that strips out administration, embeds compliance and is now putting AI to work for brokers, and a culture that consistently attracts the most talented people in the industry. Konsileo is showing what a modern commercial broker looks like, and we look forward to supporting the team through its next phase of growth.” – Steven Harris, CEO of Committed Capital.
