XPT Specialty launches Texas homeowners program

XPT Specialty  has launched a Texas Homeowners Binding Authority program for primary, secondary, seasonal and rental homes statewide.

The program targets well-maintained properties, with Coverage A limits starting at $300,000, or $500,000 for HO-5 coverage, and total insured values up to $2 million. Wind-inclusive and ex-wind options are available depending on the territory.

The offering gives retail partners access to in-house binding authority for homeowners and dwelling coverage, helping shorten turnaround for qualifying risks.

“Texas retailers need responsive capacity and clear guidelines they can bind with confidence,” said Glen Pomeroy, executive vice president of personal lines at XPT Specialty.

The launch expands XPT’s personal lines offering as severe weather exposure and rising rebuilding costs continue to constrain homeowners capacity in Texas.
