Mercury files trademark for Miti by Mercury

Mercury Insurance  has filed a trademark application for Miti by Mercury, covering property and casualty loss prevention, loss reduction and underwriting services.

The application was filed September 24 and has not yet been examined. It does not describe a specific product, launch date or how the services would be offered.

Mercury has separately promoted wildfire mitigation measures and related homeowners discounts, but has not publicly connected those efforts to the Miti name.
