Crane Venture Partners raises $484 million across four funds
Crane Venture Partners has raised $484 million across four investment vehicles as it expands its early-stage investment platform across Europe, North America, India and Asia-Pacific.
The capital comprises a $169 million third fund, a $150 million Asia-Pacific fund, a $100 million US fund and a $65 million opportunity fund. Crane invests in technology companies from inception through seed financing.
The expansion builds on Crane’s relationship with MassMutual Ventures . MMV has held a minority stake in Crane since 2018 and has been an anchor investor in all of its funds. In 2025, Crane agreed to administer MMV’s Europe and Asia-Pacific funds, which totaled $450 million and included 40 portfolio companies.
MMV’s support for the new vehicles includes Crane’s US fund.
