Allianz Commercial appoints Nina Arquint to lead EMEA

Allianz Commercial  has appointed Nina Arquint as president of its commercial business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, effective April 1, 2027.

Arquint will oversee the insurer’s large and mid-corporate business across the region, join the Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty board of management and report to Allianz Commercial CEO Thomas Lillelund. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

She joins from Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, where she has served as CEO for the UK and Ireland since June 2025. She previously led the company’s EMEA business and served as its chief risk officer.
