OtterBox adopts Truepic for warranty claims

OtterBox has adopted Truepic Vision to authenticate photos and videos submitted with warranty and protection plan claims.

Customers access a Truepic-powered camera through their smartphones and submit images of damaged products in under 60 seconds on average. The platform performs more than 50 checks on the images and associated data to identify manipulation, suspicious activity and fraud patterns.

Truepic authenticated images for more than 100,000 OtterBox claims during the first four months of the partnership. Verified claims can proceed without manual photo review.
