Eirion launches inland marine program
Specialty MGA Eirion Risk Underwriters has launched an inland marine program offering up to $25 million in capacity across all 50 states.
Backed by A+ rated capacity, the program can be written on an admitted or non-admitted basis using AAIS and proprietary forms. Multiple coverages can be combined under one policy.
The program covers contractors’ equipment, installation floaters, riggers legal liability, equipment sales and rental, mobile medical equipment, scheduled property, bailees’ exposures, and radio and television tower equipment.
Founder Kellan Quinn will oversee the program’s underwriting strategy, while assistant vice president Megan Rutherford, who joined from Starr Specialty, will manage daily underwriting and producer relationships.
Founded in 2022, Eirion also offers builders risk, property, construction professional liability, and terrorism coverage. The company said it has underwritten more than $350 million in gross written premium.
“Inland Marine is a natural extension of what we already do well. Producers know us for a broad Builders Risk appetite built on consistent, disciplined underwriting, and this program takes the same approach to Inland Marine. We pair meaningful capacity with more than two decades of class expertise, and we underwrite every account on its merits. For producers, that means a market with real appetite and real answers.” – Quinn.
