InsurConnect comes to ChatGPT

InsurConnect, a Texas insurance agent directory operated by ACE Agents, has launched an app for ChatGPT.

The app allows consumers to search for licensed property and casualty insurance agents by location, coverage need, carrier, language, and rating. It can also prepare a connection request and, after receiving explicit TCPA consent, share the consumer’s information with the selected agent. Users can also submit opt-out requests through ChatGPT.

InsurConnect combines Texas Department of Insurance licensing records with public business information and consumer reviews. Its directory includes more than 234,000 licensed agents and 16,000 agencies across 799 Texas cities, with the data updated weekly.

The service is free for consumers, while agencies can pay for enhanced placement and qualified referrals. InsurConnect says it does not operate as an insurance agency, quote coverage, or sell insurance.

The company behind the platform, ACE Agents, provides conversational AI technology for inbound and outbound sales calls, lead qualification, and call routing. Its insurance use cases include health, home, life, dental, and final expense insurance.
