Aegon CFO to step down
Aegon CFO Duncan Russell will step down and leave the company in April 2027 as the insurer prepares to move its head office and legal seat to the United States.
Aegon has begun searching for Russell’s successor.
Russell joined Aegon as CFO in 2020 after holding senior roles at Admiral Group and NN Group.
“Duncan has made an invaluable contribution to the transformation of Aegon, strengthening our financial foundations and positioning the company for long-term success. He has also been a trusted advisor to me personally, and I have greatly valued his counsel and partnership. On behalf of the Board of Directors and all our colleagues, I would like to thank him for his leadership and dedication.” – Aegon CEO Lard Friese.
