Markel partners with Verodat

Markel has partnered with Verodat to improve data management and oversight across its delegated authority business.

Markel will use Verodat’s bordereaux platform to automate the collection, validation and processing of data submitted by delegated partners. The platform converts non-standardized bordereaux into structured data, giving underwriters clearer insights into trends and portfolio performance.

The system is also expected to improve data-quality feedback for brokers and coverholders while supporting governance, reporting and regulatory compliance.

Verodat, based in Ireland, provides data management and AI tools for insurers, MGAs and coverholders. Its platform handles the ingestion, mapping and reporting of delegated authority data.
