RCIS refreshes brand
Zurich’s crop insurance business RCIS has introduced its first major visual update in more than 15 years, unveiling a new logo, colors and brand identity.
The refresh follows several operational changes at RCIS. In 2025, the company reorganized its sales, service, underwriting and claims teams across six US regions, pairing local crop and market expertise with its national scale.
RCIS has also invested in technology intended to simplify reporting and claims. Its precision-agriculture tools allow producers to electronically connect field data with RCIS systems, while mobile communications give policyholders claims updates and direct access to adjusters. The company also uses drones and satellite imagery to support loss assessments.
A separate technology project is underway for agents, connecting accounting, administration, claims, processing, quoting, training and reporting through a more integrated service experience.
Founded in 1982 and acquired by Zurich in 2016, RCIS is one of 12 approved providers participating in the Federal Crop Insurance Program. It is the only one offering coverage across all 50 states and operates through more than 3,700 agents, providing coverage for 56 million net acres of farmland.
